Activists Needed to Help Save Louisiana Coastal Wetlands

We broke it. Now we need to fix it.

An area of coastal marsh the size of a football field is washed away from the Louisiana coast every 38 minutes. That's because levees, dams, and channels have changed the flow and destroyed the delicate balance where fresh and saltwater meet.

And as erosion destroys these marshes, we are losing invaluable habitat for fish and wildlife.

Go to Vanishing Paradise to learn more and take action to help restore Louisiana's wetlands.

Also check out who else is supporting this effort. You'll be in good company.
