Tough Luck for Activist Angler in Arkansas; Alabama's Eufaula Is Next

This is the largest bass that I caught during four days in eastern Arkansas. Not much to brag about, I'm sorry to say. 

I caught this 2 1/2-pounder on the Arkansas River, where my partner and I took about 20 fish in four hours. That was the best leg of the trip, which I will detail later.

I'm now in Alabama, with plans to do a little "ledge" fishing on Lake Eufaula tomorrow.
