Big Government Threatens More Than Recreational Fishing; Food Police Save Child From Homemade Lunch

The current occupant of the White House and his allies in Congress and environmental groups aren’t alone in their misguided belief that our nation will be a better place if only Big Government can gain control of every aspect of our lives.
While they have implemented a National Ocean Council to tell us where we can and cannot fish, as well as other federal power grabs, their like-minded minions have been busy as well, shutting down lemonade stands and, now, confiscating a pre-schooler’s homemade lunch.
The turkey sandwich, banana, apple juice, and potato chips prepared for her at home actually were much healthier than what was forced upon her and for which her family was charged $1.25.
The child ate three chicken nuggets from the tray and threw the rest away.
“What got me so mad is, number one, don't tell my kid I'm not packing her lunchbox properly," the girl's mother said. "I pack her lunchbox according to what she eats. It always consists of a fruit. It never consists of a vegetable. She eats vegetables at home because I have to watch her because she doesn't really care for vegetables."

And remember this: this kind of insanity will continue as long as Obama is the president. In fact, it likely will increase if he gains a second term, as both he and his followers are emboldened.
These people believe that they will create a utopia if only they can take away liberty and control the masses in a regulated society reminiscent of a bee hive or an ant colony.
If we don’t take back our country, saving our fisheries, our unapproved lunches, and all that we value, then we will deserve what we get from these Big Government zealots.
