Hunting, Angling Advisory Panel Established in Canada

I’m so soured on the corruption, incompetence, and gridlock by the “professionals” in government that I’m not confident that any program that the feds are involved in can be effective.
But I do think that more citizen involvement is the first step toward reversing the madness. That’s why I like the idea that Canada’s prime minister is proposing: A hunting and fishing advisory panel that will “help craft governmental policy.”
The panel will consist of “representatives from hunting and angling associations.”
Would such a panel be effective in the United States? Will it even work in Canada?

Robert- We already have that here, Regional Councils for Fed waters. Worthless but the meets can be great orgies. Give me a reason to visit New Orleans every so often. Max
