Have You Seen This Fish?

I’ve never seen anything like this. Probably you haven’t either.

Barry Launder caught this 5-pound “golden” bass on July 18 at Suji Dam in Zimbabwe, Africa.

It doesn’t appear to be an albino, but rather a largemouth with a mutation of pigment.

I’m seeing what I can find out about this phenomenon and will write about it for B.A.S.S. Times. After the article appears there, you also can read about the golden bass here.

Until then, this is the only information that I can find online.

If you’ve ever seen, caught, or even heard of a golden bass, please tell me about it.
